Navigate to Settings > Reading. Set the Front page displays on Your latest posts. Don’t forget to save the changes.
Three first posts
The three first post are displayed only with the featured image, the title and date. For the best result it is important to set a featured image for every post.
Home page without featured posts
If you don’t want to display the first posts differently then the other post create a new page and assign the blog template to this page. Name this page for example blog. Save the page.
Navigate to Settings > Reading and set the newly created page as frontpage.
